Looks similar to early blight on spuds. Nothing drastic yet but spreading a bit. Anything to worry about?

Yes I think this is it. Looks the same only that my leaves are wet. It has been both wet and warm so ideal conditions really. The question is, can I do anything organic to control it? Or, will a bout of really cold weather be enough to keep it at bay? I'd be pretty disappointed if the plants developed head rot. Apart from some new onion sets this s e only veg I'm growing at the moment so want it to do well.Originally posted by Penellype View PostCould be Altenaria leaf spot - likes warm damp weather.

There is some more information about this problem here Treatment For Alternaria
If you are gardening organically probably the best thing you can do is remove any infected leaves, mulch the plants with straw or something similar and clear up any fallen leaves as soon as you can. The article suggests spraying with copper based fungicide - to me that is not organic gardening.A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory.
