Much better value than getting them from a catalogue. I hope they do well for you.

Btw, just seen this useful info on 'Garden Betty':

Even if your crop is plagued by garlic rust this season, all is not lost — you can still use the cloves as seed garlic for next season. A study conducted by the University of California found that seed garlic taken from rust-infected plants did not cause rust in the resulting new crop. Simply choose the largest cloves from the cream o’ the crop of your properly cured and stored garlic heads, and give it another go this year!

Thanks for that Noosner, I was going to play safe and just use fresh stock. But now I think I'll grow one of my saved bulbs as well.

Managed to spin past Wilko this morning after dropping the lil' un to school. They had 'Casablanca' (hard neck) garlic and it looked good - 3 fat bulbs for £2 so I got 2 packs, oh, and some Japanese onion sets and Tulip bulbs and mixed Daffs and labels and a few other gardening sundries.

                  Oops.

Sadly no Germidour garlic as I would have gotten a pack of each.
While wearing your night clothes, plant cucumbers on the 1st May before the sun comes up, and they will not be attacked by bugs.
