  • Tomato Leaf Curl?

    Hi,

I have 6 Tomato plants in grow bags in my new polytunnel and they are growing well

Three of the plants have started having leaf curl so that the whole leaf is wound around itself. This is on three plants only and only on some leaves.

I have posted a picture online and a curled leaf is shown in the middle of the picture.

Any ideas on what is it and should I be worried?

    Thanks

    Aaron

I'm glad not only mine do it. It's down to treating them too well apparently. Nothing to worry about.

Some varieties seem prone to this with the leaves starting off tightly curled but I always find they straighten out after a few days.

I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite, the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
