    That's right Wizer. Pinch out the little bits you've circled. How did you make the circles.

      If you are ever short of Tomato plants.
      Allow the side shoots that WiZeR circled to grow until they are five inches long and then bend them to snap them off the plant. These 5" shoots will root quickly and you will get new tomato plants from them a lot faster than if you were to grow more from seed.

        that's a very kind offer leona, but I also not have an abundance. The second sowings had better success and now I can't give them away either!

          Snap. I had a bad first sewing where barely any survived. To compensate I sewed loads more and they all grew like wildfire. I now have heaps of tomato plants in my small London garden. Fortunately, they are mostly outdoor varieties (GD and Tumbler) and I've had to plant them all out as my mini greenhouse was bursting at the seams and I desperately needed to pot them on into bigger pots.
