I'm on my 4th sowing of cukes. I have never raised one yet from seed. However, the last two which I set are now galloping and look as though they might get somewhere.

Sorry to be dim, but when you say "pinch out the side shoots", do you mean in the same way that we pinch out indeterminate tomatoes?

            You're impatient
If they're in a GH, do you leave the door/windows open so that pollinating insects can get to the flowers?
Give each plant a gentle shake daily to help with pollination.
            Won't be long now

If you've got flowers then it wont be too long before your toms arrive, have a close look and you might see very small pea sized toms.

Are you feeding them? They need something once they set fruit.

Are they in pots or in the ground?

The compost in the grow bag will now be dead and at 6ft tall they are big plants.

If you have 4 to 5 truss's of toms pick out the leading shoot to stop them growing any taller so the plants will have more energy to produce fruit. Up your feeding regime to water then feed and carryon alternately. As others have said tap the supporting canes as you work to help with pollination and things should start to improve.
