    I'm thinking about binning these the more I think the more it seems to be more logical!

        Why bin them?........Just remove the damage leaves & I'm sure they will pick up.

              I agree, give them a week or so and you should see if they pick up.seems a shame to start from scratch

                I think they're too wet. Remove one from the pot and I bet the soil near the stem is wet with poor root growth. If I'm right, carefully remove some of the wet soil and replace with dryer compost. They should perk up within a week. I'd also plant them as deep as possible in their pot.

                    Toms are fairly hard to kill unlike cumbers. In the past when I have had trouble I have cut off the leader put it through the milk bottle and had a new plant in no time.
