  • Marglobe tomatoes

I bought a packet of Marglobe tomato seeds from Tenerife. They're growing well at the mo, but does anyone know if they're bush tomatoes and how tall they grow please. I believe they're like cherry toms. Thanks!

Marglobe is a bush/determinate. Medium sized and very flavoursome.

On recommendation, I tried these last year. Grew very well in the greenhouse, looked very healthy. Flowered a bit later than the other varieties. Not many tomatoes - they were biggish and every one of them developed blossom end rot (the other varieties in the greenhouse - Golden Sunrise, Gardeners Delight and Fandango - didn't. They were all grown in large pots. Why Marglobe turned out differently, I can't explain. Good luck with yours.

        Thanks GrahamR and also WilliamD.

Fortunately I've got others on the go so I'm not relying solely on the Marglobes!
