We have only experienced ours up to the age of 7 months and by then the boys are more than happy to nip yr bum as you walk past.

Is that where the verb "to goose" comes from?

As you come out of Foolow onto the main road, you're in Housely, and bang opposite the junction is the B&B where we stayed.

Went to the Bull in Foolow and the 3 Stags Heads down the road. Both fine pubs but very different - did a couple of reviews on Trip Advisor as loved them both. Stags was a proper rough and ready pub, whereas the Bull was quite smart and restauranty.

Ah the stags hasn't changed then in all these years.

My wife comes from Buxton and I used to shoot that area with my two B i Ls. Also use to do a fair bit of climbing and the rock at Stoney Middleton is some of the best.

Like you say a great part of the world.
