Potting on seedlings

Unfortunately I accidentally left them sitting in a tray of water last night :-( I water them from below to try and avoid over watering, but do you think they will be okay?

Don't water then again for several days - until you feel the pots getting a lot lighter than when they were watered.

How long should I let them sit in the tray of water for?

10 minutes should be plenty, 5 minutes may well be enough.

Hi Indigo, My daughter is 3.

And she actually does not normally smile like that, she usually does a massive smile and shows her teeth.

No, not little and OFTEN. Wait until the pot feels light, then stand in water for about ten minutes. The water should only be about half an inch deep - the compost will suck it up into the pot.
