I'm having a go at Carolina reaper philphy it's my first year for super hots I'm having a crack at fatali chocolate hab and a few others, at the mo they've just their second leaves and look healthy, one thing I noticed was they germinated faster than most chillies

Cheers for the advice, I'll take my germinated pots out of the propagator tomorrow and will then pot on when they have their first true leaves, which to be honest some of them might already have, will investigate.

I am trying orange and red habs numex piquin (?) Fatalli Trinidad seasoning and crest.....absolute beginner completely overwhelmed by the number of strains/varieties available...and fascinated.....I'm finding that whilst they've germinated that's as far as they've got......couple of proper leaves appearing still have them in the propagator atm

ladyslip - Make sure you take lid off propagator once seedlings emerged (unless you already have of course)....

Got dorset and bengle nagas-very much growing slowly. Jamaican Jerk, Hot scotch, orange and chocolate habaneros. Serrano, Early Jalepeno too. All of them were started off in the heated prop, extracted and left to form true leaves in foodbags whilst sat on window sill. Purely to prevent them from keeling over with cold night time temperatures. Clock watching for six weeks, by which time they will take a walk to the poly.

I have two Carolina reapers potted on.
Had some Butch-T last year and always grow various super hots.

This years list includes fatalli, 7 pot Jonah and naga morich

Last year I tried to grow loads of hot stuff and now I've got so many jars of pickled super hots I don't know what to do with them... So needless to say I haven't gone with superhots this year, but...

I did manage to overwinter a Dorset Naga and a Fatali (my first overwintering success), which I'm quite chuffed about!

Cool. Carolina Reaper has sprouted, 100% germination. 3 weeks and two days from sowing.
