checking the greehouse this morning, it appears that I have an aubergine!!! Years and years have I been trying and it looks like I might finally have cracked it! The funny thing is the plant it's on has been totally neglected,in fact theres 2 plants in one pot, it dried out a couple a weeks ago and recovered.......tough love maybe? The one's i've planted in the greenhouse border are looking lush and have lots of flowers but no sign of fruit yet.....scratches head

It's scared it's going to die so it's throwing out fruit...

Yes paradoxically it seems neglecting a plant is the best way to get it fruit!!

Maybe I should take a machine gun to my tomatoes!!

My single aubergine plant has been neglected from the off. Sown late, potted on late, given the worst spot in the GH and then evicted to make room for the chosen ones (toms,cucs,chillis, peppers).

Tough love is not working here. Though, it is flowing at the moment and looking relatively healthy (under the circumstances).

So maybe I should get that machine gun!!
