we are trying cucumbers this year,as i was given a young plant,i never realised just how fast the fruit grow,it is against a white wall,i put a mark on the wall first thing in the morning and was surprised to see the amount of growth when i was closing the main greenhouse door that night,so i have given the peppers a good talking to and pointed out that the cucumber was showing them how,prince charles talks to his plants,i now tell mine off,it must be an age thing..
