I planted pak choi and different kinds of kale as seeds last september and then put the seedlings in the front garden. I kept picking the pak choi until it snowed, when it was frosty it went limp and then defrosted and perked up. The kale was picked as young leaves and then grew rapidly in spring.

Does anyone know what size broad beans and peas can reach reach over winter? If I put them in in October in small pots will they still be transplant size come April/may or do they need to go in there final positions in October ?
