First harvest

5 fat peas in a pea pod pressed! One grew (4 in it) 2 grew (4 in it) and so did all the rest! My pea plants are only 15cms tall, the pea pods are touching the soil but they are producing the sweetest peas! We've also had 8 small radishes! Self sufficiency any day now guys x

Brilliant! All I've harvested from my allotment so far has been radishes and spinach. But there are a few pea pods forming and just waiting for the peas.

Best thing about gardening is that it's exciting everytime! And if you do get bored you just find something new to grow

I picked a few last weekend but got a really good crop off them today. The outdoor ones are only just starting to flower so there'll be quite a gap when the under cover ones finish.
