Sprouts & Cauliflower

I have recently acquired an allotment so am very new to all of this :-)
Can anyone give me some advise on growing sprouts and cauliflowers ? I have planted both from seed in seed trays. Whilst I have several seedlings that are currently about 2-3cm in height they are still very spindly and appear to have stopped growing.
Can someone advise what to do next ?

Where are the seed trays at the mo?

The seed trays are in a conservatory .

Both your sprouts and cauliflowers would be better off in individual pots and left outside during the day, after a few days of hardening off they can be outside all the time.

Ok thanks I'll try and transplant them. Should I try feeding them or will they pick up once they are in their individual pots ?

Yups, what Bren says is the best of advice. Caulies tend all to mature at the same time from the same sowing so best to make successional sowings 7 - 14 days apart.

Transplanting in to fresh compost should give them sufficient feed.

When you come to plant them in their final spots make sure the ground is really firm otherwise you could end up with "blown" cauly's and sprouts.

And protect them - I've just lost all my caulis to cabbage root fly . Put brassica collars on them all, and if poss cover them with enviromesh or debris netting.
