They made a ruling against Kokopelli (French seed saving) I wouldn't want Real Seeds having the same problems.

Same here.

They will never stop people swapping seeds, illegal or no, but the valuable retail outlets like the Real Seed Co would disappear and a lot of varieties would disappear as a result.

Real Seed already operate as a Club and do not sell seed to the general public - only to the Club's members Terms & Conditions
Its already a ridiculous situation and seems likely to become worse if this legislation is passed.

I get my seeds from Real Seeds and would hate for this to shut them down.

Email sent but let's not forget that no matter how hard they try the EU can't stop me peeing on my compost heap (human urine is not an approved fertilizer). I know this stupid proposal could impact on some of our best loved suppliers but it certainly won't stop us sharing whatever seeds we choose to.

That's exactly what they are trying to do.
