I've just started to pick the pods of my various beans for drying as the pods are going brown and starting to rustle. This year a number of the red kidney beans have started to germinate in the pods. I've never seen this before and assume it is because the last week has been really hot - mid to high 30s - and humid.
We are eating them as shell beans because I guess they won't keep. Now it has turned cooler I'm in two minds as to picking all the rest and drying off the plant/out of the ground or hoping they just start behaving!

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, Dusty Rhodes was a wrestler and he's still alive and kicking...and gauging eyes
Too much rain and not enough sun. Still, there's always next year
