I know how to save things to my computer but I have difficulty finding them again Its a 2nd hand laptop and its still saves documents under the previous owner's name - and that really does confuse me as I forget the name he gave it

That is why there is a Search function VC you don't even need to know the name of the file (just use *) & then the file extension (in this case .pdf),so go START,SEARCH in the box type .. *.pdf .. & it will find all files of that type on your PC,same goes for *.txt,*.doc,*.mp3 etc
