11 months younger the swine, and before you asked he lived up to his reputation. His plate contained roast beef & roast gammon, boiled new potaoes and roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding, beans, carrots, cauliflower cheese, shredded beetroot, peas and finally gravy.

Followed by a large helping of apple crumble with custard and a clean plate of course.

When I used to work away with male colleagues their challenge at the hotel carvery used to be to get the maximum possible on their plate. I can still see it - the meat would go onto the plate, then they'd ring the plate with potatoes as a dam and mound the middle up with whatever else was on offer. They never left any either. There nowt wrong with a healthy appetite Its leaving food on the plate to waste that I can't abide!
