  • Flowers fallen off Courgette

Quick question guys......One of my courgettes which is about 2" long and swelling nicely has lost it's flower, sorry if this is basic but will this affect the maturing of the fruit?

    Cheers guys

Got a picture? Basically, once the courgette has been fertilised the flower should fall off so all may be well.

Looks fine to me, like RL says it should fall off once it's served its purpose.

Of course you can take the credit for it, you're responsible for it. I'm told the flowers are tasty if coated in tempura batter and deep fried. I've never fancied them, but each to their own.

It has absolutely nothing to do with YOUR courgette - just the one here http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...-ad_66051.html
and that led to this http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...-un_66288.html
and the setting up of this http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ead_66183.html
I am actually very fond of courgettes and it is jealousy talking really

Does that mean I can make comments on your courgette too?
Not that I would say anything in the slightest bit risque, you understand
