Am I correct in thinking that viable seeds sink when put in a glass of water where as none viable seeds float.

Where's Zaz, I'm sure she was looking for examples of doubling words in threads.

Never mind doubling of words BM - I keep getting whole pages missing and posting a reply only to find someone else has said the same thing on the "missing" page! Then I feel really stupid.

As to chitting seeds, I would think they would be ok. There are very few seeds I chit - parsnips of course and if I'm using very old seed (a couple of years old) then I will chit them. Otherwise no.
