Not sure about which new veg I'm going to try...I need pennies before I dare look on Ebay for seeds.
My new things are more methods. I've become a little obsessed with getting my hands on cardboard and newspapers and sourcing as much top layer material as I can get my hands on...friends are saving me pet bedding and grass clippings and none of them like coming to coffee shops with me as they know we'll leave with a bin bag full of grounds.
Also, going to give Veggie Chicken's idea of spinach rows on a patch a go.

Also tempted to try growing Watermelon (really
), I've seeds for a Canadian variety suitable for short growing seasons. I think I'll sow if we have an okay Spring. Got seeds from the excess seed parcel for Szechuan Aubergine but I'm dithering.
