If the 4 tiered mini greenhouse is anything like mine, you can remove the shelves and put your plants at whatever you level you like. I usually remove the top shelf of mine for more head room (for the plants, not me).

i have seen them in b&m bargain... they are for 8� and they don't look bad.... i thought as well to use them for my tomato against the fence... also i fund a lot cheap garden stuff... i bought 4 metal spiral for the tomato only 2�.

I grew baby sweetcorn in a deep container last year with a layer of stones in the bottom to help balance, they were successful, but I didnt get an awful lot due to only having four plants in the container, but still it worked well and were not in my way so I think its worth having a go at, I'll probably do it again.

that's it a good news.. so i'll keep an eye on every pot and make sure that they don't dry out...anyway can you tell me the size of your container ( sorry but i don't how big that kerbside are\0 my are 30cm by 30 cm and tall 28cm. thanks a lot

Hi, I just measured and the containers are about 34cm depth x 50cm length x 34cm width. I had 8 plants in each container which grew to around 6ft I think.

thanks cazp so i think i will put 3 or 4 per pot... did you put some weight in the button of the pot to help balance them?

yes matt you should go special go when is september becouse thei put everything in reduction at crazy price to make space for halloween item.. i bought in that time pot for 50p and 1� plus 2 mini polytunell 3m long for �1.50 each... and the small greenhouse and growhouse for �4... i will go again in september... you always find a way to use them...

the software i used is smartdraw.. it look bit complicate in begining but after you realizethat is not.

that is the same that i bought from b&m.. i upload the picture so you can see..
ps the first one i bought i forgot to secure to the fence and after a strong wind (70mph that what the news said) it blew away with all the pot inside that's why the zip is broken... now i secured them properly to the fence...

Hi,
There was no danger of the container tipping with the weight of soil it held, however the plants themselves (being so tall) would have fallen over if they were not supported.

I did this by putting a loop of string around the group of plants in each pot and tying it to the fence behind.

I read that it is best to arrange corn plants in blocks (rather than rows) so that they have a greater chance of pollination so I just put my two tubs side by side so effectively I had 4 rows of 4.
