    You also have to consider the soil needed (acid or alkaline), firmness of soil, and final size of mature plant.
    For those reasons, I reckon it would be more challenging (but not impossible) to grow sprouts in a container.
    I agree, part of the reason, why I wrote, what I did. However, you can also grow a lot of things in near sweet nothing.
