cucumber recommendations please

    DG, not much help but do remember that cucs can commit suicide at the drop of a hat. I expect to loose 50% of my plants so grow more to compenstate. If the lose's ain't as bad as expected I give the extra plants away.

      would be interested to know if anyone has grown any Japanese varieties of cucumber, the long and thin type. Finding seed is proving very difficult here in the UK.

        I grew cucumbers last year for the very first time outside in growbags - variety - Burpless Tasty Green. Does exactly what it says on the tin. The first taste was a revelation, and I will do it again this year. One grow bag of two plants just was not enough.

        How can you not grow a plant with a name like that?
