      you should of trimmed the leek head stem of when it snaped and put it in a bottle of water it would of produced more grass always next time pal

        It's not so much bleach as disinfect so make sure you don't overdo the bleach concentration if you decide to follow that procedure next time. Are the leeks still ok? I hope so and that I've just worried you un-necessarily. Update with pics through the season please
