Poor growth on part of my plot

Um, I have a similar issue with part of my plot- the same part of the plot that the previous owner (and still the neighbour) told me she used to have as a flower bed, by the method (seriously, she told me this) of 'throw a packet of seed on it in spring, then spray it all with weedkiller in autumn.' I hope it's not the same problem for you.

Newton, you mention the possibility of infected manure. Did you apply manure to the poor part only or to all the plot. The problem of aminopyralid contamination of manure is still very much with us.
