    Interesting, don't remember reading that one but it's usually pretty good on stuff like that. I was basing mine on what I always thought to be true and the advice on the Real Seeds site which says "For seed production, you really must pollinate the flowers by hand, otherwise they will cross with all the other squash and pumpkins,giving tasteless watery mongrels that are no good to eat" - see bottom of the page - Vegetable Seed : Courgettes & Summer Squash

    Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

      Hi everyone, well i roasted the cross breed and it was like a marrow and tasted quite good !!!
