Interesting point. This is my second year growing Onions from seed; last year they were fantastic compared to the set ones I had grown for donkey's years before. This year planting out was much the same as last year so "fingers crossed". But the potential for White-rot from Sets has convinced me even more.K's Garden blog the story of the creation of our garden
