First toms.

This morning I spotted 3 tiny toms on one of my Marmande plants that were sown January 11th

Its still in a pot and only stays in the greenhouse overnight if 'they' say the temps going to be above 10c. Its getting heavy so I might have to plant it in the GH border was wondering would fleece be enough to keep it warm. ?

Some of my toms are having to stay outside Bren because I haven't got my blowaways/greenhouse up yet. They're doing fine, so surely yours would be ok in the greenhouse with fleece if there's a frost. If my deep pots don't arrive soon I'll be composting my January sown toms, they're very, very leggy.

wow toms on already well done, got flowers on mine, i have mine in pots in the greenhouse, they are coverd with fleece on a night and are doing great, temps in durham are still dropping to around 2 c during the nignt, so will keep the fleece on mine for a while yet , last year in early may we had -3c i lost 2 chillies wich were next to the door, my toms and other chillies were fine under fleece. hope this helps.

Thanks for the help, I've checked the weather on different sites for the next week to 10 days and the lowest night temp is 3c with my last frost date is early May so I'm still unsure.

It's one of the draw backs to growing in the back garden instead of having a lottie you can't see what others are doing.
