Ooooh good luck everybody. I too am growing cukes for the first time this year, I have some of the 'cucina' mini cukes as I am low on space...when did everyone start theirs off? Mine are about 2 weeks old and about 6" high, am about to repot them as they have outgrown their pots now!

          Hi

I too am trying socrates this year following a blog I read last year, this fella had 243 off one plant, averaging 25+ a week. The boss made Delias cucumber relish last year and it was a revelation so I hope to bag up on cuc's and bribe her to make gallons of the stuff! lol

I grew Tiffany F1's last year fron T&M.

They cropped really well in the greenhouse and were an excellent size and texture.

I have never grown any outdoors but I am lead to believe Marketmore are best for this.

Got some called Flamingo this year so will wait and see how they get on!
