    I like to plant my lettuce at 2 weekly intervals that way I can keep 2 families supplied for the season. My first lot went down in a cold GH 1 week ago no sign yet but not worried they are often a little slow at this time of year.

      No it's not. Lettuce like cooler temps - they won't thrive in your house, it's just too warm (as you'll discover if we get a summer: all your lettuce will bolt at the same time on a hot day)

        just when i thought i was learning enough to keep by. Very much appreciate the help guys and gals you must get sick of repeating the same thing year in year out
