    frenchies (and whatever borlotto thingy ma bobs are) - and the once you sent me too -- want to get them start off so I can save some to use as dried beans!!

    Should I go from heated prop -> cold g/h ?

      I only have 3 broad bean seeds left btw, thankfull as I really aren't fussed on them.. so will just chuck them out as / when I can

        No need for the prop. Chit them first, so you can sort out the strong from the weak. Plant up the best ones (do this every year if you're saving your own seeds: always keep the best of the bunch)

        Then you can sow in the cold gh in a few days time. Mine is 10c at night now, yours must be around the same?
