Last years leeks

Many of the leeks I planted last Spring are still no bigger than a bamboo cane. Should I dig them up or will they keep growing this year?

They won't get much bigger I'm afraid. Still, I'd still have a go at cooking and eating them.

They will grow ... and flower ... this year I'm afraid. No rush to dig them up though, so them may put on some girth in the early Spring. If you leave them too long, and they get tough, they should still be OK for soups.
