          Chitting mine made the world of difference...

          The first lot I planted were 14 inches long, the next lot went in too late to be anything other than babies.

          Unfortunately I've lost the notebook when I wrote down when I planted them

            Yay well done Creemteez! I got the first part done right (chitting on damp kitchen towel in a container in the airing cupboard) so the next part will be to do the trench and we are there! I had some good ones this year but not quite as perfect as yours!
            Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
