    If you're not going to sow direct, then put them in pots, it doesn't have to be root-trainers. I find peas don't really mind root disturbance

        Sorry ... another question ... I've not yet sown these peas, but I've got some Kelvedon Wonder and want to sow them in pots this week.

        I have a feeling I read somewhere that when sowing peas you're supposed to either scratch the surface of them with sandpaper or else soak them. But I can't remember the details of what I read.

        Could anyone possibly recommend the best thing to do, please?
