We grew some a few years ago- looked fantastic on the plate mixed with other varieties- and yes- they did split and go moldy very quickly- but froze down well.
I wouldn't rave about them, but the colour was interesting!

It's in Dutch, you can use the Google tools to translate it easily, it also translates it as you navigate through the site. Very good tool.

Bearing in mind what other people have said, this site says about Garden Pearl..... and I quote "Very nice and sweet and juicy."

Mmmm, so you might want to take the comments on it, with a pinch of salt. Although I have found that seeds of GP from different places taste differently.
So maybe I should get hold of some Dutch seed for next year.

I've got two GP plants. I'm picking them when they're just turning pink to red and sticking them in the fridge and they are quite sweet.

Bearing in mind what other people have said, this site says about Garden Pearl you might want to take the comments on it, with a pinch of salt.

Sounds like a very large pinch of salt is needed .............could add some flavour

Have had quite a few tomatoes from them & find them a strange colour & not amazing flavour but OK when mixed with other tomatoes.
Will probably not grow them next year although they were early to pick.
Saved seed from a baby plum tomato from my local greengrocers last year & that one is amazing.
Has 8 trusses each with at least 50 toms & have had about 20 ripen so far.
Will save seed again so watch the seed swap site.

Have now taken some pictures.
First shows the bottom truss & 2nd shows the top.
Think maybe I should remove some of the flowers now as I can't imagine all of them ripening.

Hmmmm!!! I grew them in hanging baskets last year and found them very plentiful and tasty!

Thats a relief I saved seeds from Sainsburys Pomodorino baby plum toms last year and they were great too. Forgot to sow some this year.

Tried these for the first time this year - absolute rubbish. Didn't mature well and then went mushy. It's back to Gardeners' Delight.
