I like to hand pick them and put on a paving slab with a circl of salt round them then its either the birds or he salt that gets them MWahahahahah

I just cut them in half with a pair of scissors, they act then like a natural bait for other slugs that will come to feast on them, so pop back in a couple of hours. This works very well if you pile them all together near to a notorious slug neighbourhood.

my land is next to a disused railway embankment which is covered in every sort of weed imagineable - there are millions of slugs in it - its a veritable slug slum -
but my plot is very classy so they are a little reticent in setting foot - i do have the posh area police handy (chickens) if necessary.....
