potatoes flowering

First flower opened today on vales emerald potatoes. The flower buds have been sulking for the last week or so but finally they are opening. Won�t be long now till I�m tucking into those first new spuds of the year.

I should add that these are in a container and were started off in an unheated greenhouse.

Anyone else got flowers yet?

vales emerald here in containers as well. Can't beat your flowers, but buds forming on them at the moment, so like you, it shouldn't be too long before I am tasting the first potatoes of the season.

Hi, yes I have also got some flowers on my potatoes in containers. They were started off in the greenhouse at the end of february. I can't remember the variety though

yup, I have Colleen in tubs started Valentine's day (in the greenhouse) which are about to open flower.
