Pinching out?

how big should i let my pepper grow till i pinch out the growing tips? or should i just leave it how it is? im new to all this so dont really know what im doing at the moment its about 14 inches tall

I don't usually pinch out my peppers (I mainly grow chillies and they seem to branch OK on their own)

I grow sweet peppers and I never pinch out the growing tips. I just pinch out flowers after the first three or four have set.

You only need to pinch growing tips on tomatoes, runner beans, french beans (climbing varieties), squash...
...can't think of any others.

If you pinch out the tips, it will delay fruiting.
