  • Moss

    Hi all,

I am hoping that someone, anyone, mught have some advice on moss...
I have lots of veg and fruit plants that seem to be being attacked or overun by moss... they are all in pots as the ground here is rubbish...

How can i get rid of the moss... or will it do no harm to leave it...

    Many thanks

I personally scruff it up and mulch with home made compost; or take the top inch off if there is no space to add it.

I don't often get it though as I think it's a sign of overwatering, and we never ever do that!

Probably not moss, but algae? Pretty harmless, just tickle over the surface and hey presto, its gone!

Too much shade and too much water gives moss ideal growing conditions. Algal growth also indicates too much water. Be a bit meaner!
