When I don't have mountains of stuff to take with me, I do walk it - it's quite nice every so often. I do, however, tend to take loads and loads of stuff with me most times I go - bags of kitchen waste, tools (I can't afford 2 sets at the mo, so don't have any I can leave in my shed), plants, pots and all the usual. I'm trying to save up for a second set of tools, and when I get them, the car will stay home a lot more!Originally posted by rustylady View PostSorry Sarah, but I couldn't help picking up on the fact that your lottie is only 3 minutes drive. If it's that close why are you driving there? Couldn't you walk it and save the petrol?

Our plot is about a 5 min drive or 15 min walk, but with having heard that most folks have had their sheds broken into on fairly regular basis (even tho we've 8' tall security fending which is covered in brambles) and the fact that our inherited shed is not at all secure we arent able to leave any tools on our plot, so have to take them in the car each time we go! I'd love to be able to leave the car behind, but at the moment it really isnt possible!Blessings
