Thanks Zaz. Is the time right to sow now? I do have cauli, cabbage, calabrese and sprouts still lurking in my seed box from last times try, so I might grasp the nettle and do it this weekend. In fact now, I can hardly wait to give it another go, howzat for a turnaround in less than an hour. You guys are brilliant. You will send me some veg if mine flops?

What varieties of veg do you have? I grow several different types of cabbage all of which are sown at different times of year. Can't be bothered much with summer producing ones as there's so much else to eat then but do like my spring, autumn and winter ones

Problem with brassica plugs is you can import clubroot and they really are so easy to grow [although I did lose a trayful last year by not protecting them.....but you live and learn].

Thats why I won't accept gifts of brassica plants or God forbid, actually BUY brassica plants!

Well that's done. Took a brave pill. 40 cabbages sown, 40 caulis, 40 calabrese and 18 sprouts. Am I hedging my bets do you think? Should I put some more in to be on the safe side? I don't want them to flop, but the party sounds good! We could wear gorilla suits BM and make it fancy dress. What's YSP Zaz? I'll look out the varieties tomorrow Alison.
