Already started my shallots in modules on the kitchen windowsill. Remember hearing somewhere plant on the shortest day, harvest on the longest. Here's hoping.

I planted my onion and leeks seeds on my windowsil and then read that two of my tomato plants can be planted indoors in january, so I've done the same with them.

1st earlies are chitting too, garlic is out and pak choi was growing pre-Christmas under a polytunnel.

Put my chillis into propagator (heated) weekend before last - some were just starting to show last weekend... Once they are up, they will be moved to windowsill for peppers, aubergines, cucumbers - then tomatoes the next batch

I've ordered some more seeds, and will sow some onions and leeks when the seeds arrive, but will wait a bit longer for other things. The greenhouse is definitely too cold, and there's not enough light (north facing windows) in the places I could put pots in the house. The seed potatoes should be in the local nursery by end of 3rd week of Jan, so will pop in to choose from the 27 varieties they have ordered.
