I thought it was. If they grow too much before the cold really sets in, they are likely to bolt in spring as they think they are in their second year. I await rebuttal.Sent from my pc cos I don't have an i-phone.Comment

A lot depends on the area and even the micro climate for that area. It may be hot tomorrow but as far as I know there is no forecast for an Indian summer this year? It would be about a week before they started to put roots down anyway!Originally posted by Rocketron View Post

If it was going to be consistently warm then it would be a problem but it'll probably be back cold and wet next week so they won't have had chance to grow much...........

deffinately not kidding caro,i have only been out in a my vest style top,and the forehead very damp 
with the heat,i do believe you had good weather earlier on in the year,and we had rain,rain and more rain,but has filled us lots of barrels now ,hope it soon passes for you,
