Why are some entries "moved" and where are they "moved" to?!

Usually because they have been posted into an incorrect group, depending on what the subject matter was about as to where it gets moved to, some groups are not for posting but information only.

Sometimes the Mods will 'merge' the contents of one thread into another too, but only if they are about very similar subjects and the contents of one will benefit the readers of the other.

As the others have said ... perhaps moved to a more suitable place?

As an eg. you have started this thread in Vegging Out, when it probably ought to go in Chitchat ?
