How are your slugs?

I used the Bio-friend slug banish in preference to nemaslug as I have very heavy clay soil which I'm told doesn't suit nemaslug.

Perhaps this is why Nemaslug didn't make a difference on my land - I'm on clay and last year was the first year of soil improving, which is when I used Nemaslug. This year I've used the Organic Slug Pellets, which were more effective. I simply don't get birds in my garden - no trees around, apart from my container-kept ones and some honeysuckle. No trees in either neighbours' gardens, either. All the bird food gets eaten by magpies and crows!
