Cucumbers for dummies - Help!

Hiya! I've just been given some cucumber plants and was told I needed to grow them in the greenhouse. I nodded wisley, took the plants and have been googling eversince. I've gotten as far as putting the little guys in a nice big growbag, but they're starting to get bigger, and I've not idea how to proceed. Please Help!

Before the plants race away, you need to put as tall a cane behind them to support them - or netting, or taught string to twist them round - they can grow very tall - in excess of 8ft in good conditions. The fact you were advised to grow them in a greenhouse suggests that they will be an all-female variety, so all you need to do is keep tying them to their support and pinching out side shoots. At each leaf junction, the plant will produce baby cukes and a side leaf - pinch out the leaf leaving the baby cuke.
Make sure you feed tem and water them regularly - same as for tiomatoes - they are thirsty plants and much quicker growing than tomatoes, but a high potash tomato feed should aid in the production of fruits.. If you need more help, let us know.

Mine are Marketmore - are they indoor or outdoor cukes?

Marketmore can be a bit hard to grow indoors TBH, most greenhouses will just get too hot for them....

Thank goodness - I've only got a small plastic greenhouse! Being very new to all this, I didn't know they grew so big and they would take up the whole greenhouse LOL

I've got curly bits on my 2 cucumber plants, one of which has a gerkin's texture on the stem.

I assume this is normal? One is F1 Marketmore, the other's and F1 too. Nothing on the F1 mini though

Marketmore can be a bit hard to grow indoors TBH, most greenhouses will just get too hot for them....

Never grown Cukes before, and I've got marketmore. Just bought extra large growbags, and was planning to grow them in my Dad's Greenhouse (it's a 9' x 18' Rhino, with auto vents). The door is permanently open this time of year, and there is an auto drip-feed watering system that he bought a few years ago, that I am going to use to feed/water them and all the Tommies. Would they be better off outside?

Hi,
I'm growing a mini Q and two Marketmores in my GH. They all seem to be doing ok, although I have been told Marketmores don't like to climb too much and have to be encouraged.
At the nursery I work at SO many people kill off their plants by overwatering. They don't like too much water, especially around the stem, until fruit is established.
they respond well to ring culture, mine are very happy planted in 2ltr plastic pots with the bottoms cut off inserted into a growbag.

When it comes to feeding, I add Vitax organic seaweed liquid into the tomorite mix.
