i sowed my safari inside in pots, they germinated in about 5 days. How long ago did you sow them?

I agree with lbc. I have germinated my Safari's almost 100% by using small pots, organic potting compost, left on a windowsill inside, and watered sparingly daily. n.b sparingly for me means soil sprayed daily and given a proper drink once or twice a week; depending on how sunny its been

I've been having big big probs with my bean seed saved from last year, yardsick runner beans - none germinated, mr Ferns climbing french bean 3 out of 10 germinated, Sophie co co bean I'm looking at around 7 out of 40 so far.

I was wondering if it was just me - probably alot to do with the wet and cold summer last year
