hi everyone what a good day got all my bedding plants in still more to put in but they can wait till 2 mra just pulled radishes wat some big ones first time ive done radish it must be the easiest thing to grow anyone else put plants in

Not today Cheery tree - was out cycling on a tandem in Cambridge (sore bum now!)

I did this yesterday though, planted up two large hanging baskets though, and made two pots for a friend.
One is a flower pot of geranium, lobelia and petunia. The other is a veg pot of tomato, radish, carrot and kohl rabi. Although the radish seems to be complaining at being transplanted as they are still wilted

Filled 17 hanging baskets with tumbling toms on Saturday. Yesterday planted out a whole bunch of courgettes, squashes and beans and sowed some basil and coriander direct to see if the theories are correct about them preferring this method (no disturbance by being transplanted).
You are right it has been a glorious weekend for the garden. Was out there planting and potting up for most of the day, until I realised I was getting sunburnt....ouch!
